La crecida del río Sena no alcanzará los temidos 6,10 metros registrados en 2016, según las previsiones, pero el Ayuntamiento no baja la guardia frente a posibles daños provocados por las inundaciones cerca del río, que hoy alcanzó los 5,63 metros.
Aunque la lluvia sigue cayendo sobre la capital y su región, se espera que el máximo de crecida previsto para el fin de semana se sitúe entre los 5,80 y los 6 metros.
El Ayuntamiento mantiene contactos con los servicios de transporte, de aguas o de calefacción de la ciudad, entre otros, para “limitar el impacto de esta situación en la vida cotidiana” de los parisinos, afirmó el consistorio en un comunicado.
El Sena, que suma varios centímetros cada día, se desbordó en algunos tramos por lo que permanecen cerrados una decena de túneles y carreteras, varios parques y establecimientos públicos y algunos tramos del tren de cercanías RER C, con paradas muy cerca del río, que permanecerán inaccesibles al menos hasta el 31 de enero.
La ciudad está hoy en “alerta naranja”, la tercera de cuatro, según el servicio Vigicrues, debido a los riesgos de inundación que se extienden por toda la región de Île-de-France, donde se evacuaron barrios próximos al cauce de forma preventiva.
Según Météo France, la “excepcional” cantidad de lluvia registrada en París fue el doble de lo normal entre el 1 de diciembre y el 21 de enero.
La crecida del Sena de esta semana recuerda las inundaciones de mayo-junio de 2016, que provocaron en la región de París la muerte de dos personas y daños por valor de 1.000 millones de euros. EFE
