“We fully support President Marito Abdo”, he added this Sunday through his personal Twitter account.

Likewise, the president warned that it is time that the democratic governments of the region should support each other and work to avoid more emergencies in the continent.

It is time for the region to fight together against those who attack democracy and freedom, and unite against the regimes that promote them,” he ended.

This Wednesday, Oscar Denis, was kidnapped by a cell of the Paraguayan People’s Army (EPP) in his cattle ranch located in the north of the country with his field hand, Adelio Mendoza.

The kidnappers demanded that Denis’ family distribute supplies to 40 communities for a total value of USD 2 million and that the government release two members of the terrorist group who are in prison.
